The ISOVER Multi-Comfort House is based on the passive house concept, leading to bioclimatic design. It is sustainable and takes environmental, economic and social factors into account.

Furthermore, it offers optimal thermal comfort and related energy savings. It combines excellent acoustic and visual comfort with superb internal air quality, fire protection and safety. It permits great flexibility in building design, both externally and internally.
And it forms the foundation of ISOVER’s strategy for the sustainable development of buildings.

The task for 12th International Edition of ISOVER Multi-Comfort House Students Contest developed by ISOVER in close collaboration with the Department of Architecture of Brest City is the design of a residential function taking in to account the community development situated in Brest, Belarus.

The participants will have to create sustainable architecture in accordance with Brest Energy – Efficient Residential Module approach, integrated into the urban space while respecting the Saint-Gobain Multi-Comfort Criteria and taking into account the climatic conditions and regional context of Brest.


Each of the two stages of the competition can assign up to three monetary prizes for the first, second and third place. Additionally, other prizes might be awarded by the local organization.

National StagesInformation about the amount and number of prizes for the National Stages will be provided by the local ISOVER and Izocam organizations.
