How you win
Step 1 – The Great Global Adventure game:
You answer a series of general knowledge questions to travel around the world. There are 7 destinations in total, and at each destination you have to solve a puzzle or complete a challenge to win points. Once you have completed the game, if you are one of the top 25 scorers in your region when the competition closes, you will be contacted to compete for the regional prize.
Step 2 – Selection:
25 top scorers per geographical region will be invited to the next stage. There are 4 geographical regions in total: Europe, the Americas, Africa & the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Each of the chosen contestants will go through a first stage selection process: this will be a video interview with pre-recorded questions. The top 5 candidates per region – as scored and rated by a selection panel from that region – will then be interviewed remotely against a set of pre-agreed criteria. The top scorer for each region will go on to step 3.
Step 3 – Final interview:
All of the 4 regional finalists will be asked to attend a panel interview via WebEx or video conference with a panel in Paris. After this, the final Great Global Adventure game winner will be selected for the ultimate prize, the remaining 3 finalists will each receive a digital prize.
